Following her graduation, Kayla embarked on a diverse career path. She initially served as the head coach of an elementary girls’ basketball team and worked as a substitute teacher at the Rivers School.
Transitioning into media, she interviewed players and coaches for the Celtics Late Night Show and provided pre and post-game updates.
After a year, Kayla joined the ACC Network as an ESPN sports reporter, conducting interviews with athletes and coaches. She later transitioned to basketball analysis, covering games and offering critiques of players.
